NEIGHBORS’ PORCH LIGHTS - Posted By: BeachMama on 8/15/2018
Hello, We are staying OF in Frisco. The house next to us has been keeping its outdoor lights on all night - big flood lights under the porch and on the porch. These guys have multiple fishing poles and surfboards, so I’m surprised that they don’t understand the disruption to the turtle nests, not to mention neighbors watching the night sky. What’s the general etiquette here? They are paying t... [Read Full Post]

BEST ROUTE FROM VERMONT - Posted By: lhansenvt on 8/15/2018
We will be staying on North Swan Beach in 2019 and wondered about the best route from Northern Vermont. We are right on the New York/Canadian border and have traveled many times to the North Myrtle Beach area. We aren't big fans of I95 and always took I87 to I81 to I64 and didn't pick up I95 until Richmond and then only stayed on until we hit 40 into Wilmington. Any suggestions about routes and ... And we trusted Seaside builders on repairing our bulkhead. We were not able to be there during the repairs. The first storm we had all of the sand and rock washed away and cracked our vinyl. Come to find out the never u... [Read Full Post]

OCEANA'S BISTRO - 1st time trying
We have been to Avon for many years and have never had the opportunity to come here. We arrived at 630 on a Friday evening and had to wait 20 mins for our table. We were seated and had some local brews and placed our order. Blackened Red snapper and fried Red drum were awesome! Another entree of blackened salmon was equally tasty! Grilled Flounder and a bacon cheeseburger rounded out our orders.... [Read Full Review]

THE MAD CRABBER - Wonderful!
My family and I loved this restaurant. We were a party of 9, we arrived around 5:15pm and were seated within 10 minutes. The food and drinks were outstanding. It is very casual which we appreciated. We all enjoyed seafood as well as steaks and burgers. The crab bisque soup is awesome. We got 2 bowls to go to eat the next night. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Th...
